Oxherding - The Past Is Gone and The Future Is Not Yet Here

After the destruction of the world by the god Shiva, there is a interim of time before human civilization takes form again. Or maybe it is for the first time because we do not know what was there before. Oxherding captures this moment with the composition titled The Past Is Gone and The Future Is Not Yet Here. An ambient stasis where sound seems to float in a moored position. This is a spiritual drone field for listeners to be mesmerized by the vastness it imparts.

A crystal clear cassette consisting of two side long tracks titled the same as the tape itself. The entire listen seems to be delivered almost mathematically using a normal distribution curve.  Building slowly from nothingness to a point of genuine majesty, then disappearing into the empty void again. Fitz Hartwig, the creativity powering Oxherding, has tentacles reaching into an organic world. The sound of The Past Is Gone and The Future Is Not Yet Here is so completely natural. Existing in a state where influences of all genre and eras of music have no meaning.

This cassette is released in an edition of one hundred and is available from the Oxherding bandcamp page. From Fitz's notes, The Past Is Gone and The Future Is Not Yet Here is specially reinterpreted for cassette creation of some of his past recordings. Pretty sure the future will have Oxherding's music on a label. There are a good many of them floating in the same space as the sounds Fitz delivers.
